London - Chelsea needed a goal in the last minute to be able to win over Shakhtar Donetsk. Even so, the Blues rated it worth getting the three points from the game.
Chelsea did have to work extra hard at home to Shakhtar at Stamford Bridge on Thursday (11/08/2012) pm dawn. They face a very troublesome opponent.
Had the lead twice through Fernando Torres and Oscar, Chelsea could not prevent his opponent twice to score through the leg Willian. The match was going to end like 2-2.
However, after continued to press in the second half, Chelsea get what they are looking for in the injury time. Heading Victor Moses to make sure they win 3-2 and claim all three points.
"We deserved to win this game today, especially in the second half where we dominated. I only played ten minutes, but nice to have scored a victory," said Moses at the BBC.
"We know they are not as good goalie and we make this kick. We are doing our best and we were happy to get the three points," he continued.
Meanwhile, Gary Cahill admits that Shakhtar are a good team that is very difficult. He was also happy his team finally came out as the winner of the match.
"Shakhtar Donetsk are very good, and at times looked like playing five players in front. They continued to press forward, but I think we played well," he said.
"They are a quality team, but the influence of the Vic with his head. A fantastic thing to have scored in the last minute," said Cahill.
