WBA deserved at the top

West Bromwich Albion are a surprise so far clear at the Premier League season 2012/2013. Not to be due to luck, Steve Clarke assess the Baggies deserved to be at the top.
Looking Duo Manchester, Chelsea or Arsenal are in the top the last few seasons may be used. However, now there is one other team after 13 games that exist between them.
They are the WBA who initially predicted the maximum dwell only in the middle of the board or at least struggling to avoid relegation. Moreover, Clarke appointed as the new manager a lot more experienced as an assistant.
However, a limited squad without star Clarke was an alibi to complain and they proved with a solid team game, WBA now it is in third place standings!
With 26 points, they are one point ahead of Chelsea at the bottom and five points ahead of Arsenal and Totteham Hotspur. Even the start the team based at The Hawthorns was better than Liverpool or Newcastle United.
Victory over Sunderland two days ago was the fourth in a row and it was the first time in the history of the WBA achieve participation in the UK's top competition. Giants that had become the victim is Liverpool (won 3-0) and Chelsea (2-1).
It may be a lot to assess the performance of WBA far more influenced by luck and could have been dropped in the middle of their season.
However, Clarke did not want to be so because of his team's performance so far has shown that WBA deserved to be in the top at the same time cautioned that his team did not trigger a big head because the season is still long.
"Obviously this is not the start because of luck. We get the points we have got. You could say we were so lucky to get a few more points in the game," Clarke said on Sky Sports.
"This is a solid start and we deserve what we have achieved so far," he continued.
"We deserve to be in the third position. But we must not be complacent. We can not think about that because we were in there. This is a big moment for us."
"We'll stay grounded and continue to work. But as I told the players, this will be a good season for us," added Clarke.
