The victory makes Fergie satisfied

Manchester United came out as the winner in the Manchester derby. Sir Alex Ferguson also thinks this victory as a victory for special and satisfied with his team's performance.

First Manchester derby of the season held at Etihad Stadium on Sunday (09/12/2012) evening hrs. In that game, Manchester United winning 2-0 until halftime through two goals from Wayne Rooney.

In the second half, City were able to keep pace and were able to equalize through goals from Yaya Toure and Pablo Zabaleta. But the 'Red Devils' sealed the three points after Robin van Persie's free-kick in injury time tearing goalkeeper Joe Hart. Manchester United's 3-2 win over City.

With the victory, MU broke the record unbeaten City at Etihad. Previously, The Citizens have never lost a match in 37 games played at home.

"I do not know much more dramatic win than that. Today is special because the City has not lost at home for two years in the Premier League," said Ferguson told Sky Sports as reported by the BBC.

"You can not take my eyes off the game. I thought we played very well," said the Scottish manager.

"They deserve to make a comeback as a 2-2 draw, but until that point, I thought we were much better than them," he added.

With the addition of three points, MU firmly at the top as well as farther away from the City. Manchester United now has 39 points, while City are one level below has a collection of 33 points.
